Chief Financial Officer
Salary Range: $ To $ Annually
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and serving as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the CFO will provide enterprise-wide financial leadership across a multi-location, asset-intensive organization, supporting disciplined growth, operational excellence, and sound risk management.
The CFO will oversee all aspects of financial management, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, capital management, and enterprise reporting. Beyond core financial responsibilities, this role will act as a strategic partner to executive leadership, providing clear, timely, actionable insights to inform decision-making and support sustainable value creation.
A key priority will be leading a significant financial and operational systems modernization initiative, including evaluation and implementation of a new ERP platform to enhance financial visibility and strengthen operational decision-making.
QualificationsStrategic, forward-looking finance leader with experience in complex, operationally intensive environments such as manufacturing, industrial distribution, or related sectors. Experience leading successful ERP implementation and/or significant financial and reporting systems upgrades. Judgment and perspective to assess risk, support long-term planning, and partner effectively with executive leadership while remaining practical and hands-on in execution. Aligns with ABC Recycling’s family-owned, values-driven culture, collaborative leadership style, strong interpersonal skills, and long-term orientation to building the business.
Based in Burnaby, British Columbia.
