We are seeking a Canada Compliance Officer to oversee compliance and financial crime controls for our Canadian operations. This role will support the company's compliance with Canadian financial crime regulations and ensure the integrity of our AML program.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the implementation and maintenance of the company's AML compliance program in Canada
- Monitor compliance with applicable financial crime regulations
- Analyse suspicious activity and support internal investigations
- Ensure appropriate escalation and reporting procedures are followed
- Conduct periodic AML risk assessments
- Identifying emerging risks and recommend control improvements
- Support required regulatory reporting and documentation
- Maintain accurate compliance records
- Work with operations, risk, and product teams to ensure compliance controls are embedded in systems and processes
- Experience in AML compliance or financial crime risk management
- Familiarity with Canadian AML regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical and investigation skills
- Experience working in payments, remittance or fintech
