Position: Senior Actuarial Analyst (Hybrid Work)
Leverage your actuarial expertise with Aviva as a Senior Actuarial Analyst in a dynamic hybrid work setting. Focus on pricing and profitability analysis of large commercial accounts exceeding $2M.

At Aviva Canada, you will play a pivotal role within the Large Accounts Pricing team. This position requires a minimum of 3 years in Property and Casualty actuarial roles, where you’ll be conducting thorough analysis and communicating results effectively. You’ll work alongside underwriters and senior management to drive strategic pricing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate pricing based on unique account characteristics

• Conduct risk assessments for large retentions

• Present analytical insights to non-technical audiences

• Mentor junior staff and students

• Implement process improvements for efficiency

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Actuarial Science or relevant discipline

• At least 3 years of actuarial experience

• Completion of 4+ CAS exams

• Excellent communication and analytical skills

• Familiarity with SAS, VBA, or R
