Host/Hostess at Grand Villa Casino

We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable host/hostess who excels in customer service and enjoys engaging with guests. The host/hostess will manage the flow of the restaurant, process reservations, and support the dining team.

Job Type: Casual

Hourly Wage: $18.38

Post-Probation Hourly Wage: $19.58

• Engage with guests and provide a premium experience.
• Initiate conversations with guests and provide excellent service.
• Juggle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Work flexible hours, evenings and weekends as needed.

• Host/hostess experience in hospitality or food service preferred.
• Cash handling experience using POS system or cashier register.
• Tourism, promotion, marketing, entertainment or event training experience preferred.
• Serving It Right (BC)/Proserve (Alberta) certificate/Smart Serve (Ontario) required.
• World Host / Super Host certificate or similar customer service program preferred.
• Proven selling, marketing, and service skills.
• Effective public speaking skills and presence.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds (fully loaded tray).
• Knowledge of specialty food and beverage items.
