Position: Contract Senior Human Resources Generalist
Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia is seeking a Contract Senior Human Resources Generalist in Burnaby. Focus on enhancing HR policies and managing employee relations while enjoying a hybrid work setup.

As a senior-level contributor, you will oversee HR programs and provide guidance on complex employee relations such as complaints, accommodations, and performance issues. Collaborating with the HR team and leaders, you will ensure that policies not only comply with legal standards but also foster an inclusive workplace culture. Your skills in drafting policies, handling sensitive matters, and engaging in HR initiatives will prove vital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a key advisor for employee relations and complex issues

• Review and manage HR policies ensuring clarity and compliance

• Drive HR projects and ensure deliverables are achieved

• Work on workplace safety compliance initiatives

• Address day-to-day HR issues in collaboration with leadership

Requirements:

• At least 7 years of relevant human resources experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required

• Hold a CPHR certification

• Strong background in drafting complex HR policies

• Proven critical thinking and independent work capabilities
