Our people are at the heart of our success, and we are seeking a strategic and business-focused Director, Human Resources to lead our global HR Business Partner function.
This role is ideal for an experienced HR leader who is passionate about understanding the business, partnering closely with leaders, and helping organizations scale thoughtfully while maintaining a strong culture. Reporting to the Senior Vice‑President, Human Resources, the Director, Human Resources will lead a team of HR Business Partners supporting employees and leaders across multiple regions and functions globally. The successful candidate will bring a strong blend of strategic thinking, operational excellence, leadership capability, and business acumen.

Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of HR Business Partners supporting diverse business groups and geographic regions.
Partner closely with business leaders to align people strategies with organizational priorities and growth objectives, championing STEMCELL’s culture and values while helping the organization continue to evolve and scale globally.
Provide strategic HR counsel on organizational design, talent planning, leadership development, employee engagement, performance management, and change management.
Foster strong relationships with leaders by developing a deep understanding of the business, operational priorities, and organizational challenges.
Support and coach leaders through complex employee relations and people matters with sound judgment and a solutions‑oriented approach.
Drive consistency and excellence in HR partnership practices across the global HRBP team.
Collaborate with the HR functional teams, including Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, and HR Operations, to roll out various initiatives and programs, including the associated change management required.
Knowledge & Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor’s degree (ideally in Science or Life Sciences); graduate‑level education preferred, with 10+ years of related and progressive HR leadership experience in a global environment supporting one or more executives (at the top two levels of an organization), preferably in a fast‑moving high‑technology or life‑sciences environment.
Proven experience leading and developing high‑performing HR teams, with experience supporting global teams and navigating complex organizational environments.
Strong business acumen with demonstrated success building credibility, partnering with, and influencing senior leaders.
Exceptional relationship‑building, communication, and coaching skills.
Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.
Passion for people, leadership, and helping businesses succeed through strong organizational capability.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary range: $ – $. STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within this range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job‑related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package, including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
