This role encompasses the full cycle of payroll management, handling various employee data while adhering to labour laws and collective agreements. Your detail-oriented mindset and customer-first strategy are critical in responding to employee inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure accurate payroll processing and year-end tax forms
• Collect and validate time data, enhancing payroll operations
• Manage employee data to facilitate seamless payroll integration
• Maintain standards for compliance and documentation
• Collaborate with site operations to ensure payroll accuracy
Requirements:
• Two years of full-cycle payroll experience required
• Diploma/degree in accounting or related field preferred
• Previous experience in a unionized setting is essential
• Knowledge of payroll systems such as ADP preferred
• Relevant certifications (PCP or CPM) valued
