At Interfor, we're looking for a Payroll Specialist with a keen eye for detail and a customer-first approach. This role focuses on full-cycle payroll for our Canadian employees while addressing labor relations and compliance. Successful candidates may work in our Southern Interior mill locations or at the corporate office in Burnaby.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute full payroll processing and audits accurately
• Validate time data and ensure alignment with payroll
• Handle and maintain employee lifecycle data
• Keep documentation up to date with laws and regulations
• Foster strong relationships with HR and operations teams
Requirements:
• Two years of experience in full-cycle payroll
• Diploma in accounting, payroll, or business administration
• Familiarity with payroll systems, especially ADP
• Experience in unionized environment required
• PCP or CPM certification is a plus
