As a strategic leader reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, you will orchestrate operational improvements across HR functions specifically in payroll and HRIS. Your expertise in organizational transformation will be critical in enhancing service delivery and guiding the future of workforce operations in one of British Columbia’s major municipalities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on governance frameworks and service standards
• Lead Lean Review recommendations and effectiveness initiatives
• Drive operational improvements in HRIS and Payroll functions
• Strengthen analytics and reporting for informed decision-making
• Partner with Finance and IT for service enhancements
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in HR, Business, or Finance
• Significant leadership experience in HR, payroll, or operations
• Professional designation (CPHR, CPA, etc.) preferred
• Knowledge in organizational change and process improvement
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
