Position: Transformational HR Director Role
Shape the future of HR at the City of Burnaby as Director of HR Systems and Operations. Focus on modernizing payroll, compensation, and analytics to enhance service delivery across the organization.

In this pivotal two-year executive role, you will report to the CHRO and lead operational improvements guided by strategic initiatives. Your leadership will be key in successfully integrating HR processes with finance and technology, fostering a modern approach to people and culture operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with HR and business leaders for governance

• Implement strategic initiatives from Lean Review findings

• Drive integration of payroll and HRIS for better service

• Enhance reporting capabilities for effective workforce planning

• Lead change management initiatives across departments

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration

• Substantial HR leadership and operational experience

• Familiarity with HRIS and ERP systems preferred

• Expertise in change management methodologies

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
