ADVISOR, PEOPLE & CULTURE
We’re looking for a dynamic, Advisor, People & Culture to be the go‑to partner for our Burnaby & Surrey team. Reporting to the Regional Director, you’ll provide trusted advice, strategic guidance, and hands‑on support across all areas of People & Culture — from recruitment and onboarding to employee engagement, compliance, and conflict resolution.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES- Take ownership as the first point of contact for leaders and employees at assigned locations.
- Partner with hiring managers to attract, onboard, and retain top talent who share our values.
- Offer expert advice on policies, best practices, and compliance matters — staying up to date on federal and provincial laws to ensure excellence in all processes.
- Help leaders build stronger teams and foster engagement by putting people first in every conversation.
- Provide support and guidance in employee relations and conflict management with professionalism, empathy, and discretion.
- Champion our Acera culture, values, and initiatives — and help us make work fun while achieving our goals.
- Work with national team to ensure alignment of Acera policies and procedures.
- Jump in on various People & Culture projects.
- 5‑7 years’ experience supporting leaders in an HR role.
- Post‑secondary education in HR or related field (CHRP an asset).
- Strong relationship‑building, problem‑solving, and confidentiality skills.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines, juggle priorities, and work independently.
- Bonus points for experience in the insurance industry.
- Full‑time, In‑office.
- Burnaby, BC.

The typical hiring range for this position is $70,000–$90,000 CAD annually, with final offers based on location, experience, knowledge, skills, and internal equity.
