You will provide essential coaching and guidance to leadership on various employee issues, ensuring adherence to HR policies and collective agreements. This role involves leading HR projects, managing workplace engagement, and develops strategies that facilitate an effective work environment at Sobeys.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coach leaders on employee engagement and performance outcomes
• Manage HR programs and leadership training initiatives
• Lead discussions in collective agreement negotiations
• Oversee compliance with employment legislation
• Drive change management initiatives across the organization
Requirements:
• At least 5 years of HR Generalist experience
• Degree or certification in Human Resources is preferred
• In-depth knowledge of employee relations and labor laws
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Experience in retail or multi-disciplinary HR environments is an asset
