Position: BCRTC Maintenance Supervisor Role
Shape the future of Metro Vancouver's transit as a Maintenance Supervisor at British Columbia Rapid Transit Company Ltd. (BCRTC).

Your role will focus on supervising urgent maintenance and enhancing operational safety.

In this pivotal role, you’ll apply your technical knowledge to oversee support shop operations, ensuring the reliability and safety of assets. You will be responsible for planning, supervising emergency responses, and executing safety protocols, while meeting budgetary constraints and managing vendor interactions. Your leadership in this position directly impacts operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise technical maintenance and compliance with safety

• Facilitate effective departmental planning and execution

• Respond to and manage emergency incidents

• Conduct quality assurance processes

• Participate in safety training and staff development

Requirements:

• Red Seal or equivalent recognized qualification

• Five years in maintenance with three in supervision

• Strong teamwork and conflict resolution skills

• Solid analytical capabilities and time management

• Effective communication, both written and verbal
