Dick’s Lumber is looking for a results-driven Yard and Warehouse Manager with solid experience in managing unionized personnel. In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing daily tasks, promoting safety standards, and collaborating with staff to elevate the customer experience. Your strong organizational skills will ensure seamless operations and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations and performance of the unionized workforce
• Establish clear training protocols for yard personnel
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies
• Maintain stock levels and report inventory needs
• Manage union grievances effectively
Requirements:
• At least 3 years’ experience managing unionized staff
• Experience in a relevant field for 3 years
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills
• Strong time management and detail orientation
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
