The Senior Manager, Underwriting, plays a critical role in assessing and structuring loan proposals s position requires a blend of analytical skills and experience in due diligence for medium to high complexity loans. You'll lead efforts to ensure compliance and develop innovative solutions for clients while working closely with internal partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Underwrite medium to high complexity loan proposals
• Negotiate terms and conditions with internal stakeholders
• Resolve compliance issues during deal negotiations
• Maintain relationships to enhance teamwork and objectives
• Coach and mentor junior staff for team growth
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or related field
• 3 to 5 years of relevant underwriting experience
• Strong experience in loan writing and credit analysis
• Bilingualism in French and English is an asset
• Proven communication and negotiation skills
