Term Manager for Shelter Operations

Drive impactful shelter programs as the Term Program Manager at Progressive Housing Society. This engaging role oversees the planning and execution of Supportive Housing initiatives within Metro Vancouver.

As the Program Manager, you will report directly to the Director of Housing and Community Programs. Ideal candidates have significant experience working with vulnerable adults and a proven track record in supervision. This position includes leadership responsibilities for 24/7 operational management, addressing staffing issues, and ensuring alignment with organizational guidelines throughout your tenure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and manage Burnaby Shelter Program operations

• Ensure consistent staffing and service delivery

• Address emergent operational issues promptly

Requirements:

• Relevant Bachelor’s Degree preferred

• Five years' experience with homeless populations

• At least three years of supervisory experience

• Class 5 Driver’s License with clean abstract

• Successful criminal record clearance required
