Position: UFCW 1518 Senior Director of Labour Relations

This vital role reports directly to the Managing Director, overseeing member representation and ensuring high-quality service delivery across the team. Collaboration, operational insight, and expert negotiation form the core of this leadership position, crucial for achieving union objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead collective bargaining cycles and oversee team efforts

• Interpret collective agreements and provide expert insights

• Manage grievance processes and workplace disputes

• Foster a culture of accountability and inclusion in the team

• Build effective stakeholder relations and represent UFCW in public forums

Requirements:

• 5-7+ years directly in labour relations and bargaining

• Relevant undergraduate degree and advanced collective bargaining studies

• Experience in managing workplace investigations and arbitrations

• Strong knowledge of legislative frameworks governing labour relations

• Ability to juggle priorities while ensuring team support
