Join Douglas College as the Manager of Privacy and Records Compliance in New Westminster. This role ensures adherence to BC FIPPA and oversees vital records management functions.

As the Manager, you will be responsible for implementing privacy policies, managing sensitive information, and leading a team dedicated to compliance and efficiency. You will engage with employees across departments to foster a comprehensive understanding of privacy and record-keeping practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee privacy compliance and information access management

• Lead the development and application of record classification systems

• Guide staff through privacy regulations and best practices

• Manage digital and physical record-keeping systems effectively

• Develop reports and metrics related to records management

Requirements:

• Master’s degree or related certification is an asset

• 3-5 years interpreting and applying BC FIPPA regulations

• Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences

• Management experience in regulatory or public sectors

• Strong technical skills in records management systems
