Accounting Supervisor

Our client is a large and prominent organization with its head office located in Burnaby. An excellent position exists for a CPA to function as an Accounting Manager. The successful candidate should have proven experience working with inventory concepts and will supervise five staff under them. You and your staff will be overseeing the accounting for the inventory including managing returns to Vendors, analyzing physical inventory counts and reporting the results to various stakeholders, reconciling General Ledger Inventory to the sub ledger, running weekly inventory reports, updating General Ledger inventory, managing inventory counts, managing average cost system in the sub ledger, analyzing inventory and managing the revenue sharing.

You will also oversee accounting activities related to wireless phone transactions, cash cards, inter company transactions and miscellaneous transactions. Please note that approximately 60% of your duties will revolve around the inventory functions.
