Salary Range$50,000 – $55,000 per year
Job SummaryThe Social Media Specialist plans, develops, and executes social media and digital content strategies to support marketing objectives, brand awareness, and lead generation. The role ensures all content is on-brand, engaging, accessible, and optimized to drive awareness, engagement, and qualified inquiries across multiple audiences and brands.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute always-on and campaign-based social media strategies
- Create written, visual, and video content for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, Linked In, and You Tube
- Maintain and manage a social media content calendar aligned with marketing initiatives
- Monitor engagement, comments, messages, reviews, and online conversations
- Manage community interactions and escalating issues as required
- Ensure brand consistency across all social and digital content
- Collaborate with marketing, web, SEO, and digital teams
- Support paid social media campaigns (creative input, tracking, reporting)
- Track KPIs and prepare performance reports with optimization recommendations
- Ensure compliance with brand, privacy, consent, and accessibility standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years of experience managing social media for a brand or organization
- Minimum 2 years of professional copywriting or editing experience
- Experience managing major social platforms and analytics tools
- Experience with social media scheduling tools
- Paid social media advertising experience
- Experience with email marketing, blogging, or SEO
- Familiarity with CMS platforms and Google Analytics
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization and time management
- Creative and analytical mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficient in MS Office and digital collaboration tools
