Overview
For over 19 years, the generous Slo Pitch for Kids (SPFK) community has come together to play softball, have fun, and raise funds for Make-A-Wish (over $1.7 million has been raised to date!). There are various volunteer roles available throughout the weekend that we would appreciate your help with to ensure the 2026 tournament is a huge success!
Event Details- Date:
July 18th and 19th, 2026 - Location:
Riverway Sports Complex, 8605 Nelson Avenue, Burnaby - Time: 9:00am - 8:00pm (Various shift times and roles available)
- To Bring:
Comfortable shoes, weather dependent clothing (Sunscreen and hat, or rain jacket and umbrella!), water, extra snacks - Volunteers will be provided with an SPFK t-shirt.
Volunteers will receive a food voucher (3-4 hour shifts - can be used before or after shift, no break). Full day volunteers will receive a lunch break.
Age RequirementsVolunteers under the age of 18 must sign up with a parent or guardian - no minors will be permitted to volunteer at the event bar.
