This role requires individuals dedicated to supporting youth and mitigating online violence through the E-VIBE program in Children & Youth Services. Ideal candidates will leverage social media to monitor trends and facilitate community engagement efforts around violence prevention.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete E-VIBE Mediator training requirements
• Identify and de-escalate violent online behaviors
• Track changes in emotional distress and bullying tactics
• Compile insights and reports on community trends
• Coordinate workshops for community violence awareness
Requirements:
• Expertise in major social media platforms
• Experience with at-risk youth communities
• Knowledge of community violence history in Toronto
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software
