In this key position, you will oversee all board activities, ensuring adherence to governance standards and the WRA’s mission.
Your role will involve collaboration with Co-Executive Directors to manage strategies and evaluate performance, allowing WRA to expand its impact. Candidates must be ready to commit for a minimum of two years to help guide this essential work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure effective governance and accountability in board operations
• Lead organizational strategic planning processes
• Serve as a primary spokesperson for WRA
• Foster a strong board culture and manage member relations
• Support the recruitment and evaluation of board and staff
Requirements:
• Extensive experience in non-profit leadership
• Knowledge of B.C. governance frameworks
• Excellent organizational and facilitation skills
• Proven commitment to WRA's mission and culture
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
