Vancouver Manager

Position: Vancouver Advancement Manager Role
Make a difference with us as an Advancement Manager at the Vancouver Learning Centre. Lead fundraising initiatives and engage partners in a flexible hybrid work setting.

In this pivotal role, you will work to expand our philanthropic reach and support for our educational programs across Canada. Your experience in donor stewardship and grant writing will be key to building and maintaining relationships that enhance our impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and research grant opportunities actively

• Manage grant writing and reporting processes

• Cultivate relationships with donors and partners

• Develop and implement annual fundraising strategies

• Organize events to engage the community

Requirements:

• Degree in public relations, communications, or similar

• At least 5 years of fundraising or related experience

• Successful history of securing charitable donations

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Knowledge of accounting principles related to charity
