Philanthropy Stewardship Officer

Make a meaningful impact as a Stewardship Officer with Variety – The Children’s Charity in Burnaby, BC. This maternity leave contract involves managing donor relationships and developing programs for exceptional community support.

In this crucial role, you will report to the Director of Philanthropy, overseeing stewardship and philanthropy initiatives. Your expertise in donor management and fundraising will help maintain a portfolio of significant contributors, develop recognition programs, and support Variety’s Volunteer Program. You will be instrumental in ensuring long-term relationships are fostered with our community partners and families we support, ultimately transforming children's lives across British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a portfolio of 300 donors, achieving budget goals

• Manage the Sunshine Coach program and donor inquiries

• Oversee stewardship for Monthly Donor and School Programs

• Develop and lead Variety’s Volunteer Program

• Coordinate recognition events and stewardship reports

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree required

• Minimum 3 years of fundraising experience

• Exceptional time management and organizational skills

• Strong communication abilities, both oral and written

• Experience with Raiser’s Edge is an asset
