This full-time role focuses on major gift fundraising within British Columbia. You will collaborate with the national Development team to cultivate relationships with individual donors, corporations, and foundations. Achieving ambitious fundraising goals and engaging effectively throughout the donor cycle will be key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and grow a major gift donor portfolio
• Meet and exceed annual fundraising targets
• Identify and cultivate major gift prospects
• Prepare proposals and stewardship materials tailored to donors
• Represent the Wilder Institute in the local community
Requirements:
• 5–10 years of experience in major gift fundraising
• Proven track record of securing significant donations
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Familiarity with Tessitura or similar CRM
• Willingness to travel throughout British Columbia
Lead fundraising initiatives that make meaningful contributions to conservation at the Wilder Institute.
