As a vital member of the Philanthropy Team, the Contract Grant Writer will report to the Philanthropy Manager. Your primary role will involve writing proposals for foundations and corporations while managing timelines and relationships effectively. Successful candidates will have strong writing abilities and be adept at translating complex data into persuasive funding requests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research potential grants that match Variety's strategic goals

• Prepare engaging grant applications and funding requests

• Collect and organize documentation needed for submissions

• Develop impactful narratives showcasing program success

• Manage grant tracking and reporting to meet deadlines

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline preferred

• 1-2 years in grant writing with a successful track record

• Exceptional writing, editing, and analytical skills

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Experience with Raiser's Edge is a plus
