Culinary Aide for Senior Care

Location: New Westminster

Become a Culinary Aide at Age Care and enhance meal services for seniors in a supportive, community-driven environment. Your tasks will include meal service preparation and maintaining kitchen hygiene.

In this position, you will report to the Dietary Manager and assist with delivering meals, preparing various food items, and ensuring cleanliness standards are met. This role emphasizes a commitment to quality care in accordance with established regulations while promoting ethical practices within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver meals with courteous and professional service

• Prepare beverages, salads, and desserts as required

• Set dining tables and manage tray service

• Clean dishware and kitchen areas efficiently

• Engage in Quality Improvement Programs

Requirements:

• Valid Food Handler's Certificate necessary

• Experience in food service, especially with seniors, preferred

• Must be enrolled in Food Service Worker Training Program

• Excellent customer service and teamwork skills

• Capability to lift heavy items and remain on foot
