    Position Description

    As our client’s HVAC Sales Representative, you’ll be a driving force behind growing this industry leader’s residential and light commercial product sales throughout British Columbia. You’ll build and nurture relationships with a diverse range of partners—including dealers, builders, developers, property managers, consulting engineers, contractors, and utility companies. Your role is all about connecting with people, expanding our reach, and boosting our sales in meaningful ways.

  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with builders, developers, realtors, utilities, and other key stakeholders to boost residential and light commercial sales.
  • Promote and expand the regional market for residential and light commercial plans and specifications.
  • Design and deliver product application and sales training to dealers’ sales teams, assisting in raising awareness of this industry leader’s heat pump technology within the HVAC industry.
  • Collaborate with the regional sales team and contractor network to achieve annual regional sales goals.
  • Train builder sales personnel and realtors to effectively market their products to potential homeowners through presentations at sales and industry events.
  • Assist the Residential Business Manager in developing tactical sales strategies and programs for the new construction marketplace, providing insights on market conditions.
  • Actively engage in sales planning and reporting activities.
  • Participate in local professional groups, industry associations, and functions.
  • Provide ongoing feedback on market trends and customer needs.
  • Prepare monthly sales reports.
  • Experience

  • 5+ years of experience engaging with consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, and property managers.
  • 5+ years of experience working with builders and residential contractors.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or technical trade qualification in a related field preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of heating and air-conditioning systems; experience with VRF technology is an asset.
  • Ability to read and understand architectural and engineering drawings.
  • Effective communication skills with a diverse audience.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office products.
  • Self-motivated team player who can also work independently.
  • Willingness and ability to travel.
  • Excellent public speaking skills.
  • Education

    Bachelor’s degree or technical trade qualification in a related field preferred.
