Canda Six Fortune is one of the leading wholesalers and distributors of Asian food products. We are looking for a candidate for the position as a field sales representative in our BC office.
Position Summary:
The Food Services – Sales Representative reports to the Food Service Sales Leader and is a team-player; supporting the Sales department in achieving sales targets. The role involves travelling locally to meet customers for sales meetings. The Food Service – Sales Representative meets with local retail stores, restaurants and distributors related to food service sales in order to maintain and grow customers accounts.
Responsibilities:
Achieve sales targets and objectivesProduct promotion and introduction of new products to fill customer needsIncrease and maintain product penetrationEstablish, develop and maintain long term business relationships with current customers and prospective customers to generate new business for the company’s productsClearance of short expiry productsDo product and market research for companyResolve customer issues and problems by exhibiting a sense of urgency and professionalismCollect payments (accounts payable) on a regular basis and constantly ensure that there are no aging debtsAbility to left/carry cases of product up to 20kgRequirements/ Must-Haves:
Basic product knowledge and sales known-howExperience in planning and implementing sales strategyStrong communication skills and self motivationMarket development – Ability to open new accounts for restaurant customersCustomer relationship management – Ability to maintain and develop long term customer relationshipsAbility to push and promote products as well as use sales toolsProficiency in English, written and spoken is a mustStrong negotiation and problem solving skillsBasic planning and organization skillsProficiency with PC (working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint)Use of a reliable vehicle with valid driver’s license is requiredAbility to travel to different cities within BCAssets/ Nice-to-Haves:
Ability to speak Korean will be an assetAsian food and seafood industry career/background would be an assetCompensation & Benefits:
