Position Overview
Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth within the assigned territory by expanding existing accounts and capturing new business. This role uses deep product expertise, competitive positioning, and customer insights to influence buying decisions, deliver high‑impact training, identify and convert growth opportunities, and consistently elevate Mevotech’s market presence through disciplined, strategic customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Drive territory sales growth by developing a strong understanding of market conditions, competitive landscape, and territory objectives within British Columbia (BC).
- Generate new leads and business opportunities while managing, retaining, and expanding long‑term relationships with key strategic accounts.
- Act as a business development and account management lead, identifying opportunities to grow market share.
- Deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations, and value propositions to prospective and existing customers.
- Educate customers, distributors, and installers on the full Mevotech product portfolio to support increased customer sales and adoption.
- Conduct customer training sessions, including lunch & learns, installer training, and webinars, to drive engagement and product conversion.
- Plan and execute territory coverage, including customer visits, call planning, account prioritization, and meeting cadence.
- Identify, target, and execute account expansion strategies, including new account acquisition and growth.
- Support product changeovers, onboarding, and warranty requests to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Track sales activities, pipeline, opportunities, and performance metrics using Salesforce CRM.
- Maintain the highest level of professionalism, integrity, and credibility while representing the Mevotech brand.
- 5 years experience working in aftermarket sales, industrial sales, heavy‑duty parts or OEM equipment.
- Valid Driver’s license and ability to travel 60–70% of the time (will require overnight travel).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
- Results‑oriented and track record of consistently meeting/exceeding sales quotas.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self‑starter with the ability to make things happen.
- Ability to build strong business partnerships both outside, and within the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or related field an asset.
- This role requires extensive travel of approximately 60–70%, including overnight travel, based on business and territory requirements.
