Business Development Representative

Role SummaryThis Business Development Representative will thrive in a high‑velocity environment, growing Clio’s customer base by consulting prospective clients on Clio’s Suite offerings. The ideal candidate is highly organized, agile, confident, articulate, and sensitive to prospects’ needs while building relationships across all segments from Velocity to Mid‑Market.
Responsibilities- Outbound telephone‑based prospecting to identified target accounts within an assigned segment.
- Cold‑calling a volume of 65–100 calls per day with the intent to qualify key leads.
- Collaborate directly with Account Executives to create awareness, boost interest, and set up demonstrations of Clio’s product.
- Build an understanding of the assigned territory/segment and develop unique solutions to uncover prospects and create leads.
- Document all sales activities in Salesforce and meet daily KPIs.
- Report on weekly qualitative and quantitative metrics.
- Consult and adapt to an evolving sales environment, and develop sales skills through regular training and review cycles.
- Understand customers’ practice areas, competitive differentiators, technical requirements, and demonstrate Clio’s value proposition.
- 1–2 years of sales experience or transferable experience, including cold‑calling.
- Knowledge and passion for technology and cloud‑based products.
- A competitive mindset and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Experience at a SaaS company and/or sales experience at a leading tech/IT company is a bonus.
- Demonstrate a keen interest in improving your craft by using AI.
- Base pay: 61,600
CAD (with local currency bands elsewhere). - Commission: 26,400
