Specialty Sales Representative
Position Summary
The Specialty Sales Representative is a subject matter expert responsible for promoting and selling specialized diagnostic products from their assigned portfolio to healthcare practitioners within an assigned territory, with a primary focus on the functional medicine market and Naturopathic Doctors. Reporting to the Team Lead, this role develops and maintains strong relationships with Naturopathic Doctors and other healthcare practitioners to maximize adoption and utilization of Life Labs' specialized testing services.

Senior Key Account Manager, Functional Medicine
Location & Travel RequirementBased in British Columbia, preferably the Lower Mainland area. The role is primarily functioning out of this region and supporting clients locally.
Responsibilities- Identify, prospect, and secure business opportunities to support recent revenue growth for the specific territory through development of portfolio and client business plans.
- Ensure compliance with sales automation platforms (Sales Force, segmentation tools, sales reports & dashboards), complete mandatory training and goal setting.
- Define and measure leading and lagging KPIs to ensure clear accountability and achievement of sales targets.
- Attend trade shows and conferences on behalf of Life Labs when required.
- Organize product presentations and other promotional activities in diverse medical settings to a variety of medical audiences.
- Provide timely feedback to underperforming clients and raise early-warning signals regarding risk to achieving quotas.
- Manage territory budgets and work closely with the team to strategize and build quality pipelines.
- Participate in regular meetings with Sales Manager to review and coordinate sales efforts and build a territory business plan.
- Maintain the Life Labs brand promise in all client interactions.
- Gather Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback and deliver it to Portfolio Lifecycle Management and Product Development teams in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and leverage existing ones to expand service offerings in named accounts.
- Develop an understanding of all services and offerings and create product presentations as required.
- Report product sales and promotional activities to the Company on an ongoing basis.
- Utilize CRM software and other productivity tools to plan sales calls, record client interactions, and capture new business.
- Respond to client enquiries, concerns, and messages in a timely manner.
- Identify Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and develop/maintain long-term relationships within the healthcare community.
- Facilitate feedback from clients and forward it to the Company to support new test development and expand service offerings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of sales or field experience within medical settings or as a Medical Sales Representative.
- Strong track record within a direct sales or field-based role.
- Knowledge of traditional and emerging medical technologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Self-starter with initiative and ability to work autonomously in a field-based role.
- Excellent facilitation skills to influence decision-making.
- Effective both in a team and independent setting.
- Salary Range: $81,431 - $103,825 CAD annually (commensurate with experience).
