Position: Grain Buyer - JGL )

The Opportunity

JGL Commodities is seeking a relationship-driven and motivated Grain Buyer to join our growing team based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

This role is key in building and maintaining strong producer relationships while supporting grain origination, commodity movement, and market growth across Western Canada. Working closely with producers, transportation partners, processors, and internal teams, the Grain Buyer will play an important role in identifying opportunities, negotiating grain purchases, and supporting the overall success of the business.

We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, thrives in a fast-paced agriculture environment, and enjoys building long-term relationships within the industry. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and confidently navigating conversations around grain marketing, pricing, logistics, and customer service.

This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys connecting with producers, understanding local markets, and contributing to a collaborative and entrepreneurial agriculture organization.

We are particularly interested in speaking with candidates currently located in or around Lloydminster, Macklin, Provost, Oyen, Consort, Wainwright, Viking, Unity, Maidstone, Turtleford, and surrounding communities who may be interested in relocating to Saskatoon. While these regions are preferred due to the nature of the role and our operational footprint, we would also welcome and consider candidates from outside of these areas who bring relevant experience and a strong fit for the position.

This is a full-time position based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, with travel throughout Western Canada as required.
