Purity Life is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to join our Grocery Division, working out of our Burnaby office. This role is responsible for managing and growing key customer accounts while delivering exceptional service and strategic sales support. The successful candidate will achieve and exceed revenue objectives, and growth goals through strategic account management, promotional execution, and business development initiatives.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, relationship-focused, and experienced in grocery, packaged goods, or distribution sales.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow assigned key accounts and independent grocery customers
  • Develop and execute pricing strategies, promotional plans, and sales initiatives
  • Identify new business opportunities and secure product listings
  • Conduct regular business reviews, category reviews, and new product presentations
  • Analyze sales data, trends, and market opportunities to drive account performance
  • Manage forecasting, trade spend, and debit notes for assigned accounts
  • Act as the main contact for customer inquiries; ensuring excellent service and timely issue resolution
  • Represent Purity Life at trade shows, conventions and industry events
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-5 years of sales experience in grocery, packaged goods, or distribution
  • Food, Drug and Mass channel experience
  • Strategic analysis, problem solving skills, proven business acumen
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, combined with strong, detailed, administrative skills
  • Highly self-motivated with strong initiative and a proven ability to prioritize, set objectives, and deliver results
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse partners, including customers, suppliers, and brokers
  • Strong ability to quickly build rapport, influence others, and communicate effectively in both verbal, and written form
  • Proven ability to prepare and deliver professional presentations to senior stakeholders
  • Successful completion of post-secondary education, such as a Business/Sales Diploma or Degree
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in:
    Outlook, Excel, and AI tools
  • Experience with mastering ERP and CRM systems
  • Driver's license and personal car required
