You will play a key role in driving revenue growth across commercial rental and leasing solutions while acting as a trusted partner to clients in industries such as construction, trades, logistics, utilities, and field services.

The Role

The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for both new business development and the management of existing commercial accounts within their assigned territory.
This is a highly autonomous, field-based sales role requiring strong relationship-building skills, consultative selling ability, and the capacity to identify both immediate rental needs and longer-term leasing opportunities.
A key part of the role is acting as a bridge between rental and leasing divisions, ensuring clients are guided toward the most appropriate and scalable fleet solutions as their business needs evolve.

What You Will Be Doing

New Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new commercial opportunities across construction, trades, logistics, utilities, and related industries.
  • Prospect and develop new client relationships within assigned territory.
  • Conduct on-site visits, client meetings, and solution presentations.
  • Develop tailored fleet solutions based on client operational needs.

Account Management & Growth

  • Manage and grow existing commercial rental accounts.
  • Build long-term client relationships focused on retention, trust, and service excellence.
  • Identify seasonal fleet requirements and ongoing operational needs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients on fleet planning and utilization.

Leasing Opportunity Identification

  • Conduct consultative discovery to identify longer-term fleet requirements.
  • Recognize client growth patterns, capital constraints, and replacement cycles.
  • Qualify and transition leasing opportunities to internal leasing teams.
  • Ensure smooth handoff and coordination between rental and leasing divisions.

Operational & Pipeline Management

  • Maintain accurate CRM records including pipeline, activity, and forecasting data.
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and pricing insights.
  • Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure successful delivery and execution.
  • Provide feedback to support continuous improvement in service and offering.
The Candidate

You are a proactive, relationship-driven sales professional who enjoys working in the field and building strong, long-term commercial client relationships. You are comfortable balancing new business development with account management and thrive in environments where you can take ownership of your territory and results.
You are commercially savvy, self-motivated, and able to confidently engage with clients ranging from jobsite operators to senior decision-makers.

What They Are Looking For
  • 3+ years of B2B outside sales experience.
