Position: Expert Senior Vegetation Ecologist Needed
Drive ecological solutions as EDI seeks a Senior Vegetation Ecologist in a permanent, full-time capacity. Leverage your expertise on projects in diverse Canadian environments.

This role calls for a leader in vegetation ecology, responsible for providing technical guidance and support while ensuring effective project management. You will instruct team members, oversee ecological assessments, and ensure high-quality deliverables while navigating regulatory landscapes for successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical advice and mentorship to peers

• Design and implement ecological monitoring activities

• Lead project planning and field program execution

• Manage compliance with regulatory requirements

• Review and approve vegetation mapping and reports

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years relevant experience

• BSc in biology or similar discipline; MSc is a plus

• Registration or eligibility for RPBio, PBiol, or equivalent

• Proficient understanding of western Canada’s ecology

• Previous experience in varied industry sectors
