As a Senior Aquatic Biologist, you will provide guidance and supervision for various aquatic projects.
Your role involves leading multidisciplinary teams through all project phases, ensuring compliance with environmental legislation, and assisting in business development. You will maintain relationships with clients, regulators, and sub-contractors while developing project methodologies and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise aquatic fieldwork and biologist teams
• Develop project budgets and methodologies for approval
• Maintain key relationships with clients and regulators
• Provide technical direction and defend project rigor
• Assist in business development through strategic advice
Requirements:
•
B.Sc., M.Sc. or Doctorate in aquatic studies
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in natural resources
• Knowledge of the Federal Fisheries Act
• Experience managing fieldwork in remote settings
• Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
