In this office-based role, you will oversee wildlife environmental planning and permitting for major infrastructure projects. You will lead the design and implementation of surveys, data analysis, and technical reporting while establishing relationships with clients and regulators. The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific background and the capability to defend technical rigor.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical leadership on natural resource projects
• Lead wildlife survey and assessment methodologies
• Mentor and coordinate with a team of biologists
• Liaise with clients and regulatory bodies
• Oversee biophysical fieldwork and technical reporting
Requirements:
•
B.Sc., M.Sc., PhD in biophysical sciences
• 15+ years of experience in natural resources sector
• Experience with wildlife inventories and assessments
• Professional designation under BC College of Applied Biology
• Strong technical writing and strategic regulatory skills
