In this pivotal role, you'll bring your 5 to 7 years of experience in environmental consulting to lead biological surveys, conduct habitat assessments, and manage environmental compliance monitoring. Your keen understanding of provincial and federal legislation will be crucial for developing regulatory submissions and supporting projects throughout their life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and lead biological surveys and habitat assessments
• Conduct environmental compliance monitoring and permitting
• Manage data collection, technical reporting, and proposal preparation
• Liaise with regulatory agencies and Indigenous peoples
• Mentor junior staff and provide constructive feedback
Requirements:
• University degree in biology, ecology, or environmental science
• 5 to 7 years of industry experience in environmental consulting
• Professional designation eligibility (e.g., R.P.Bio)
• Strong communication skills for diverse audiences
• Ability to work in adverse conditions and remote locations
