This full-time, office-based position emphasizes technical leadership in wildlife biology for significant natural resource projects. You will collaborate with various project teams, guiding wildlife environmental planning and ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.
Your role will include providing mentorship to junior staff and managing technical direction for wildlife assessments and surveys.
Key Responsibilities:
• Guide and oversee wildlife biology components in projects
• Mentor and develop junior biologists’ skills
• Lead environmental planning and technical reporting
• Interface with clients and regulatory bodies
• Manage habitat modeling and assessment methods
Requirements:
•
B.Sc., M.Sc., or Ph.D. in biophysical sciences
• At least 15 years of experience in the sector
• Strong skills in technical writing and review
• Experience overseeing remote operations
• Comprehensive knowledge of environmental legislation
