Phase 1 Environmental Scientist – Contaminated Sites

Our Contaminated Sites Investigation department has an immediate opening for a recent graduate to join our Phase 1 Environmental Assessment group.
You are a recent graduate of an Environmental Science or Engineering program from an accredited University and are pursuing a P. Eng., P. Geo., or P. Ag. Designation. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and an aptitude for technical writing. You believe firmly in the importance of teamwork and adding value to the team. You can manage your time effectively and are enthusiastic, positive and focused on solutions, not problems.
You have gained some experience through Coop and/or summer work placement, but it’s not the end of the world if you haven’t because what we’re really looking for is someone with the right attitude and a desire to learn and develop.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Compile and interpret historical records collected from various online sources
- Travel to sites to observe site conditions and to conduct interviews with persons knowledgeable of site activities
- Evaluate and conceptualize collected information to determine the potential for contamination to be present
- Present findings in a technical report format
