In this full-time office-based role, you will provide technical leadership for wildlife biology projects, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. You will oversee habitat assessments, manage field studies, and support your team while fostering client relationships in various industries. Your extensive experience will guide the development of compliant and effective environmental strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead wildlife surveys and assessments throughout project phases
• Provide technical direction for wildlife planning and permitting
• Oversee scoping, costing, and fieldwork management efforts
• Maintain relationships with clients, regulators, and subcontractors
• Mentor and develop biologists of varying skill levels
Requirements:
•
B.Sc., M.Sc., or PhD in biophysical sciences
• Minimum of 15 years as a Biologist in natural resources
• Proven experience in environmental consulting
• Strong technical writing and review skills
• Professional designation under BC College of Applied Biology
