Contract, with possible extension

We are hiring for motivated individuals with great work ethics to join our operational team. Our operational crews specialize in ecosystem restoration works including: invasive plant removals and planting native trees and shrubs. Work is mainly in natural areas and parks throughout Metro Vancouver.

The working environment will vary considerably, and eligible candidates will be working outdoors in all weather conditions (including rain and cold). Applicants need to enjoy working outdoors and have a good attitude.

Work is staged out of our Burnaby office (7110 Gilley Ave, Burnaby). Work hours are 8 hours per day starting at 7am Monday-Friday. Several job sites are in the City of Surrey, so candidates from Surrey are welcome to apply as long as they can provide their own daily transport to job sites.

Compensation starts at $21/hr this is a temporary contract until December 23rd, with possibility for extension

Holding a Class 5 driver’s license and/or courses, diploma or degree in a related field (environmental sciences/natural area management) is considered an asset.
