Hydrogeology Team Lead British Columbia

Lead hydrogeology teams at Stantec with groundwater characterization expertise in a hybrid British Columbia position involving technical leadership and field investigations.

As an experienced Hydrogeologist, you will lead the Hydrogeology Team within Stantec’s Water Resources Group. The work combines team development, project delivery, groundwater investigations, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Projects include environmental assessments, mine water management, water supply development, permitting, and closure planning.

• Lead, mentor, and support hydro-geologists and scientists
• Coordinate resourcing and workload planning with project leaders
• Oversee drilling, well installation, monitoring, and hydraulic testing
• Develop conceptual hydrogeological models for project decisions
• Review technical analyses, reports, scopes, and proposals

• Bachelor’s degree in hydrogeology, geoscience, or related discipline
• Approximately seven to ten years of relevant experience
• Professional registration as a P.Geo. or P.Eng. in British Columbia
• Experience with aquifer testing, GIS, and hydrogeological interpretation
• Willingness to travel for Canadian field investigations
