Service Electrician

Position: Service Electrician with Houle
Join Houle as a Service Electrician specializing in electrical power quality in Burnaby.

Your role will encompass service work benefiting residential and commercial customers.

As a crucial member of the Power Quality team, you must hold a Red Seal Electrical Journeyperson certification and possess 5+ years of hands-on experience. You’ll engage in various power quality service tasks while demonstrating a strong commitment to safety and adherence to the Canadian Electrical Code. This position involves supervising apprentices and managing critical service projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver electrical service work in power quality

• Train and supervise less experienced electricians

• Utilize Infrared Scanning for preventative maintenance

• Follow and enforce safety standards diligently

• Generate and maintain accurate service documentation

Requirements:

• Red Seal certified Electrician with 5 years experience

• Solid knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code

• Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving

• Willingness for on-call, after-hours shifts

• Current IBEW Local 213 member or ready to join
