As a Service Tech IV for United Rentals, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Your 5+ years of experience will be vital in troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment independently. This role requires visiting customer job sites, mentoring junior technicians, and keeping meticulous documentation of your work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repair on air conditioners and diesel engines

• Diagnose and repair rental fleet equipment independently

• Travel to customer sites as needed for repairs

• Train lower-level technicians to enhance team skills

• Maintain accurate records of work performed

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record

• 5+ years in equipment maintenance and repair

• Advanced skills in diagnostic and repair of mechanical systems

• Must possess own applicable tools
