Pacific Ropes is hiring a Rope Access Technician certified in GWO for tasks across Canada, focusing on maintenance of wind turbines and high-altitude work. This position involves travel and requires prior experience.
As a critical part of a dynamic team, this 12-month contract highlights safety and skill in various environments. Candidates should demonstrate flexibility, reliability, and the capability to operate efficiently in demanding conditions. Previous trade experience and proficiency in rope access standards are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform rope access tasks on elevated structures
• Fulfill client work scopes with excellence
• Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment
• Assemble and disassemble site equipment diligently
• Report and resolve safety and efficiency concerns
Requirements:
• GWO certifications including BST and ART
• Valid IRATA Certificate (any level)
• Previous experience in mechanical or electrical trades
• Strong adherence to safety standards
• Willingness to travel for project assignments
