Position: Handyman for Childcare Facilities in BC
Location: New Westminster

Kids & Company is hiring a skilled Handyman to maintain childcare facilities throughout British Columbia. This role focuses on repairs, safety inspections, and preventive maintenance to support children's learning environments.

As a Handyman, you will ensure all Kids & Company childcare centres are safe and fully operational. Your expertise will help perform maintenance tasks like plumbing repairs, carpentry, and drywall touch-ups. You’ll also be responsible for managing maintenance requests and communicating with centre leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive maintenance and repairs

• Troubleshoot plumbing and electrical issues

• Conduct safety inspections regularly

• Maintain accurate records of completed repairs

• Communicate with leadership about maintenance needs

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of maintenance experience

• Knowledge of building systems and safety standards

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work independently across multiple locations

• Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check
