Overview

We are seeking a skilled Glazier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, repairing, and replacing glass in various structures, including residential and commercial buildings. As a Glazier, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the aesthetic appeal and functionality of spaces by expertly handling glass materials. Your attention to detail and craftsmanship will ensure high-quality results that meet our clients' expectations.

• Install, repair, and replace glass in windows, doors, storefronts, curtain wall, and other structures.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the specifications for glass installation.
• Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and fit glass according to project requirements.
• Ensure that all installations are plumb, level, and properly sealed using caulking techniques.
• Collaborate with carpenters and other construction professionals to coordinate work efforts.
• Restore existing glass installations by replacing damaged or broken panes.
• Maintain a clean and protected work setting by adhering to safety protocols.

• Proven experience as a Glazier or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong skills in using hand tools and power tools relevant to glass installation.
• Knowledge of drywall installation techniques is a plus.
• Ability to plumb and build structures as needed for glass installation.
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship with a commitment to quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $35.00-$42.00 per hour
